Love & Affection Workshop with Andrea Juhan, PhD

March 27-29, 2026

Love and Affection: Embodied Practices for Self-Care
March 27-29 in Mountain View, CA

This workshop invites you into the living territory of love made physical.

Through embodied exploration—receptivity in the body, generosity in motion—affection is practiced rather than hoped for. Together, we tend the inner sources of care and nourishment that sustain us in an uncertain world.Love often lives inside old patterns, inherited beliefs, and protective armor shaped by hurt or shame. Here, instead of waiting for the right moment or a safe person, we practice sourcing love from within and beyond the self.

Through movement, somatic awareness, and inquiry, we expand our capacity to feel, express, and receive care.

Music and dance provide the ground. Rhythm invites us. Imagination opens us. Presence keeps us. In motion we remember love is not passive - it is practiced, cultivated, and chosen. When embodied, affection becomes something we can trust, return to, and offer freely.
