AMBROSIA

Cultivate connection and presence through a joyful retreat in nature

Disconnect to Reconnect

What if you could take an entire long weekend amidst redwood trees and good people where your only focus was on nourishing yourself?

What would it feel like to truly slow down to the point where you actually become present for each moment—the sounds of the birds, the feel of your feet on the earth, the sun on your face, your breath during meditation, your body as it moves while dancing, laughter during a dinner conversation, the taste of simple, organic food nourishing your body and soul...

We can't promise you enlightenment, but we can guide you toward slowing down, savoring the present moments and learning new ways to incorporate this contentment into your daily life.

Ready to nourish your soul?

October 12-15 in the Santa Cruz Mountains, California

Greg Vorst is the CEO and co-founder of Embodied Recovery, a treatment center in Los Gatos supporting individuals to transform the suffering of addiction and mental health challenges into soul growth and embodied living. He and cofounder Michael Nolan are creators of the Empowered Living series—12 core teachings that facilitate psychological maturation and spiritual fulfillment. His work with psyche is complimented by SunDo; a Korean Taoist form of embodied breathwork. In teaching SunDo, Greg assists clients in regulating their nervous system and developing greater capacity to be present to their feelings. With steady practice, people can recover from trauma and develop a profound sense of wellbeing.

Seo Yujeong

Korean Artist & Dancer

Seo Yujeong is a Korean artist and dancer. When she works on her paintings, she uses the energy of love, peace, and happiness that she has received through prayer and meditation. Seo works with her hands unconsciously, without being tied to anything. She is noted for her abstract techniques with unique colors and textures. She said “You can look at my paintings comfortably from multiple angles. The energy is different in the east, west, north, and south. The energy painting works are divided into black holes in the galaxy in the sky, earth, and people. The reason why I specifically dot the energy picture is because I feel that nature, the universe, and human beings all start from a single point. It’s about expressing your gratitude with all your heart for that one thing.”

I wanted to reconnect with my self, be grounded, meet new people and love, love to dance.

My experience was profound and beautiful. I feel really greatful, full of energy and hope. I feel happy, happy.
Thalia
We all have insecurities and think that maybe we can't dance "right" or look as cool as everyone else, but everyone is accepted, and the crowd is so diverse, that no one is really watching you anyways - so go have fun and sweat a little while getting some great exercise!
Dara M.
The variety of music and artists that play here makes for a fun experience and has me explore different ways to express that music. Makes for a spiritual and healing experience every time.
Kristina M.
Worth the drive from wherever you are! Hundreds of people young and old dancing together.
