Weekly Classes on Whidbey Island ~2006

These sessions explore our bodies in motion through the practice of the Roth 5Rhythms. This is an ever-deepening dance of discovery of self, partnership, community and unity. No experience is needed. Every body is welcome.

Monday Mornings 9.30am-11.30am
"Open Studio" Classes with Live and Recorded Music

I’m happy to announce that 5RHYTHMS CLASSES will resume this fall, with expanded class offerings. A notable change is that the weekly morning classes are moving to MONDAY MORNING, still from 9:30-11:30 at the Deer Lagoon Grange on Bayview Road. This is a drop-in class, with our same wonderful live musicians (Rachman, Joseph Sanchez and Kathy Deane).

The nature of the Monday morning class is what I’ve come to call “open studio.” This is to say that there are no fixed lesson plans. I approach each class as a unique and spontaneous constellation of the people and circumstances that are present on that given day. In this co-creative environment a deeper meaning can emerge.

Music to be an unpredictable combination of live and recorded music.

Classes are Suitable for all levels of experience.

FEE Classes are by donation ~ Simply pay more when you can and less when you must.

THE SUNDAY SERIES ~OCT. 1 – NOV. 5

In addition, I’ll be teaching an ADVANCED 5RHYTHMS CLASS for those who have had previous experience in my classes or with another 5Rhythms teacher and wish to deepen your understanding of the rhythms and your relationship to the Dance. Classes will be held SUNDAYS from 2:00-4:30 @ The Grange.

This will be a closed group and pre-regisration is required.
